About Soundwall Studios
Five rooms, professional equipment, flexible booking, no in-house engineer.
Soundwall Studios is a five-room recording and production facility tucked in Westlake Village, built for artists and producers who want professional-grade space without the overhead of a full-service studio blocking their workflow. The setup is straightforward: bring your own machine and plug straight into the room. No waiting on an in-house engineer, no paying for gear you don't need. You bring the session, Soundwall brings the space. For producers who live inside their laptops, it's the kind of arrangement that just makes sense. That said, the rooms are stocked with gear worth using. The mic locker includes a Neumann U87, a Peluso 67, a Manley Reference Microphone, and a Shure SM7B, a versatile collection that covers everything from intimate vocal tracking to broadcast-ready voiceover work. Mac Pro rental is also available on-site for sessions that need the horsepower. The live room is one of the standout features, a proper tracked space with a full drum kit available for weekday evening sessions (after 5pm) and open all weekend. Whether you're cutting live drums for a full production or just need a room with real acoustics for acoustic instruments, it's ready when you are. With five rooms across the facility, Soundwall can accommodate multiple artists or production teams at once without sessions bleeding into each other. It's become a go-to for independent artists, beatmakers, and producers in the Conejo Valley and greater Los Angeles area who want consistent, bookable space on their schedule, not someone else's. Booking is handled online through room-specific links, so you lock in your exact space, not just a general timeslot. Sessions are available seven days a week, with flexible arrangements for both single sessions and longer-term packages. Soundwall Studios sits at 31324 Via Colinas, Unit 116 in Westlake Village, with easy access from the 101, free parking, and a welcome alternative to fighting traffic into Hollywood or Burbank just to get s
